Mission

Carl uses signature mentoring/crime prevention program, badges for baseball, and its core character education curriculum, healthy choices, healthy children to give at-risk youth the tools to succeed in life on and off the field. The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation helps to build character and teach critical life lessons to at-risk young people living in America’s most distressed communities. The Cal Ripken, Sr. Foundation is looking for key partners for our events and programs to reach disadvantaged communities. By participating in after school programs, young people living in at-risk communities are provided with a positive and productive alternative to the negative pressures of juvenile gangs, crime, and other delinquent activity that often prevail within their neighborhoods.
